YOUR TEAM & YOUR MISSION
Our Finance Team is the driving force behind our global growth strategy. We're a dynamic group of professionals on a mission to achieve financial excellence and power our company's international expansion. You won't just be managing finances; you'll be a strategic partner, navigating the complex landscapes of our 15+ entities across diverse global markets. WHAT YOU’LL DO
Verify and approve all types of bills, vouchers, and reports, obtaining approval from the finance director or CFO.
Calculate applicable VAT and tax on each expense.
Process payments accurately according to the voucher and invoice.
Regularly reconcile receivables and payables.
Enter journal entries based on invoices and vouchers.
Record accruals following the revenue and cost sheets.
Prepare the trial balance.
Compile a complete set of financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including IFRS 15, IFRS 09, and IFRS 16.
Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
Maintain and update the fixed assets register.
Support documentation required by internal and external auditors.
Periodically calculate GST/VAT, considering input tax credits and other adjustments, for monthly or periodic GST/VAT return submissions.
Calculate withholding tax for monthly or periodic withholding tax statements and handle return submissions.
Communicate with foreign consultants to assign tasks and ensure timely completion for the group’s foreign entities.
Manage outsourced accountants by sharing invoices, bills, and vouchers; receive monthly accounts, review them, and upload them to the system.
Maintain regular communication with foreign colleagues for information and documents, and respond promptly to their queries.
Calculate client rebates and employee bonuses according to agreements and policies.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU DO IT
Must be fluent in English.
Need to have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a CA (CC) with passing grades in accounting and taxation at the Certificate Level.
Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Must have experience with payment processing through banking channels or portals.
Willing to learn new skills, maintain a high level of accuracy, and pay close attention to details.
Proactive, a strong team player, and possesses excellent analytical and communication skills.
Must align with Eskimi values of growth, ownership, initiative, and drive.
Must have skills and experience in using AI/Automation.
