YOUR TEAM & YOUR MISSION
Our Creative Studio builds high-impact digital advertising - rich media, animation, video, 3D, interactive and bespoke creative solutions- for clients across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
We are looking for a Head of Creative Innovation to lead the Studio alongside our existing Studio lead. They own people, delivery and operations. You own creative direction, innovation and new creative capability. This is not a role that reviews the daily production queue. It exists to answer a different question: what should Eskimi be able to make next, and how do we make it repeatable?
You will invent formats, prove they work, and turn the best of them into products the whole company can sell-from bespoke, high-impact concepts through to templated formats and self-serve creative in our DSP and new products. You will put AI to work across creative production, not as an experiment, but as part of how the Studio operates.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Own the creative innovation pipeline end to end: concept, validation, production, launch.
Prototype new formats, interactions and creative applications of AI and 3D - and demand-test them with real clients before we build them.
Productise what works: promote proven bespoke concepts into templated formats, and templated formats into self-serve DSP products.
Lead creative applications of AI across the Studio-mockup generation, asset adaptation, 3D, automation
Set creative quality standards and coach designers and developers to stretch beyond familiar executions.
Turn innovation into commercial ammunition: demos, showcase packs and pitch material that give sales a clear reason for clients to care.
Enable the wider business to create-train and equip commercial teams to produce client-ready mockups themselves, with the right guardrails.
Use performance data to decide what gets invested in, what gets improved and what gets retired.
Partner with Strategy on audience and client insight, and with Project Management on what it takes to deliver new formats consistently.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU DO IT
Senior creative leadership experience -Associate Creative Director, Creative Technologist, Design Director or similar, from a digital, experiential or creative technology background.
A habit of making rather than only presenting: you sketch, storyboard, prototype and build rough demonstrations to test an idea.
Strong grounding in rich media, interactive, motion, video or 3D creative production.
Hands-on experience applying generative AI to creative work, and a clear view of where it helps and where it does not.
Commercial judgement - you ask what a concept helps a client achieve, and why a salesperson would want to pitch it.
Comfort with performance data, and the willingness to kill your own ideas when the numbers say so.
Experience raising the creative confidence of a team: useful feedback, open critique, experimentation that feels possible.
The discipline to finish and hand over - turning promising experiments into something a studio can produce, sell and support.
Experience working across distributed teams and emerging markets is an advantage.
Good communication skills and professional working English.
