YOUR TEAM & YOUR MISSION
The Engineering Team at Eskimi tackles complex adtech challenges with a focus on delivering business value quickly. Engineers build both scalable infrastructure and high-throughput, low-latency systems, solving complex problems that demand deep system-level thinking beyond the reach of AI tools.
We are seeking a Head of Engineering to lead our international engineering teams and drive technical excellence and innovation. The ideal candidate is a proactive and influential leader with a proven track record of managing managers and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous delivery. You should care about continuous progress, delivery speed and quality and have a strong need for delivering products to market faster than the competition. You should be deeply invested in technology, particularly in AI, and committed to building a high performing engineering team.
Location: Flexible / Remote. This is a global search and we are open to candidates located internationally.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead and develop engineering teams by providing strong mentorship, empowerment, and direction to engineering managers and their teams.
- Champion delivery and operational excellence by defining and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve engineering success, ensuring teams consistently meet and exceed their goals. We are a product organization, but timely delivery and deadlines matter!
- Drive technical strategy and innovation, with a focus on integrating and leveraging AI to improve time to market of products and improve engineering processes.
- Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across all engineering functions and with the other parts of the organization, mainly Product or Client Services.
- Engage with the broader tech community by participating in international engineering events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Also building Eskimi brand among engineers in our main offices in Lithuania and Bangladesh.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU DO IT:
- Extensive experience in a senior engineering leadership role, with a proven ability to manage and mentor other engineering managers.
- Deep understanding of software development life cycles and modern engineering practices.
- Background in software engineering, preferably with previous experience as a developer.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and leveraging AI technologies in a professional environment.
- Proven ability to thrive in an international work environment, with a strong commitment to drive performance in a multi-cultural environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
- AdTech industry knowledge is an advantage.
