YOUR TEAM & YOUR MISSION

The Engineering Team at Eskimi tackles complex adtech challenges with a focus on delivering business value quickly. Engineers build both scalable infrastructure and high-throughput, low-latency systems, solving complex problems that demand deep system-level thinking beyond the reach of AI tools.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a core developer actively contributing to the codebase while providing technical support and solving complex problems faced by the team. You lead by example, ensuring quality and best practices are followed to build scalable and maintainable software across backend and frontend.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Develop and maintain high-quality Laravel applications and React frontend as a core team member 
• Lead architectural decisions and promote scalable design for both backend and frontend 
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards. 
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing. 
• Participate in peer code reviews to uphold code quality and share knowledge. 
• Refactor legacy code and improve existing systems for better performance and readability. 
• Follow SOLID principles, design patterns, and best practices in software development. 
• Identify and reduce technical debt through critical thinking 
• Optimize MySQL databases and implement Redis caching
• Use Docker for containerized development and deployment 
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot issues encountered by team members

WHAT WILL HELP YOU DO IT:

• Strong PHP Laravel and MySQL development expertise 
• Experience with React, Redis, Kafka, and Docker
• Ability to critically analyze and solve complex technical problems 
• Clear communication and thorough documentation skills 
• Familiarity with TDD and DDD principles
