Our vibrant marketing team is where creativity meets strategy. We are shaping the future as we focus on driving performance, crafting compelling content, and empowering sales through innovative enablement strategies. If you’re ready to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team, we can’t wait to welcome you aboard!
As the Development Lead in our Creative Studio, you will drive the technical execution of our rich media banner projects, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient development. A key focus will be templatization and standardization—creating reusable formats and coding practices that allow any developer to pick up and refine another’s work seamlessly. You’ll also play a role in shaping the technology stack with a long-term vision, balancing effectiveness and innovation.
You’ll collaborate closely with developers, designers and project managers while also supporting the integration of templates into our self-service platform, which is being developed by a separate project team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead the development team in building and optimizing rich media banners, ensuring efficient workflows and high performance.
- Drive templatization—develop standardized, reusable rich media formats to improve scalability and implementation speed.
- Establish standardized coding practices so that developers can seamlessly collaborate and implement changes across projects.
- Ensure long-term technical strategy—select technologies that support scalability, maintainability, and future innovation.
- Collaborate on our self-service platform, ensuring templates are compatible and easy to use within the system.
- Optimize team effectiveness by identifying process improvements, reducing inefficiencies, and fostering a proactive culture.
- Mentor and support developers, promoting best practices, clean code, and continuous learning.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and suggest new tools or frameworks that can enhance our creative capabilities.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU DO IT:
- 5+ years of experience in web development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Three.js, Blender, API integrations or similar, along with modern frameworks.
- Expertise in rich media banners and interactive digital content (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3).
- Knowledge of performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first development.
- Strong initiative, problem-solving mindset, and efficiency-driven approach to development.
- Ability to think long-term when selecting and implementing technologies.
- Excellent collaboration and leadership skills, ensuring smooth teamwork across multiple time zones.
- Experience working with templated development and maintaining standardized codebases.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with ad tech, programmatic advertising, and digital marketing.
- Experience contributing to self-service platforms or modular content creation tools.
- Agile project management experience.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:
- Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work models in cities with physical offices, and remote work options everywhere else. Where we work in a hybrid model, our team-members can use Work Away Days, allowing them to work fully remotely for up to 1 month per year. We also have flexible working hours, with most Eskimians starting the day at 9 am in their local time zones.
- Professional development opportunities through programs like Leaders Assembly for managers, Mentorship programs for growing talents, regular learning sessions, and access to external consultants. Our Internship programs also serve as stepping stones for career starters, often leading to full-time roles within the team.
- Recognition culture with celebrations of achievements. We value everyone's contribution to bring the best talent and new clients to Eskimi, and we offer Bonus systems to encourage it. The Bonusly recognition system also highlights accomplishments, allowing team members to share recognition points redeemable for various gifts and vouchers.
- Additional perks such as private health insurance (location-dependent), volunteer days, as well as organized online and in-person get-togethers in office locations to foster meaningful connections among team members.
- Take a day off to celebrate your birthday! We believe that everyone deserves to unwind and enjoy their special day, so we provide an extra day off just for your birthday.
